Party season is fast approaching and I absolutely love the excuse to look like a sparkling jewel in the heart of winter. I have left my European life for sunny Australia 2 years ago but I’m so excited I’ll be returning this Christmas and staying until mid January 2023. So, naturally, I’ve been shopping for winter party shoes and outfits and it would be cruel of me not to share the intel. Get ready to be bedazzled.

These fantabulous booties come in 2 iterations. There’s the smooth PVC coated version (currently on sale at FarFetch.com) and one that looks like it’s literally been rolled in glitter chunks. Both are brilliantly stunning, however, I feel the smooth version will wear better over time, and it’s a bonus they are on sale if you can find your size.

Balmain Black Leather Booties 95mm

These are very Femme fatale and I can’t stop staring. So bad ass and sexy but chic, but classic enough to wear for so much more than just party season and ahhh I’m just slightly obsessed! Look at the intricacy on the heel. It’s practically jewellery you’d be walking on but in a really good way. Balmain just never lets us down when it comes to detail.

Saint Laurent Talia Velvet Boots

These boots are for the woman with beauty and brains because not only are they stunning and exciting, they’re going to add warmth with that code velvet running up your leg (and you can sneak a pair of knee high stockings underneath for additional warmth. I love the look of the crushed velvet, adding a bit of edge and drama to a very refined material. Saint Laurent once again doing what Saint Laurent does best. These are available in a variety of colours and calf heights.

Sarah Flint Perfect Dress Bootie

If you’re still after a boot that shines, but not into actual glitter, check out the beautiful Perfect Bootie in Gunmetal Lamé. The shine on these is incredible in real life and the sparkle is in the woven fabric and will not fall off.
